Our Staff and Services

ABOUT US.  We are available for all types of parties which include Benefits, Baby and Bridal Showers, Cocktail Parties, Corporate Events, Sit Down Dinners, Graduations, Grand Openings, Wrap and Cast Parties, Anniversaries and much more.  In some instances, Specialty Gourmet items may be coordinated by Topji, but purchased from another Gourmet Food Provider as requested.

 

Topji is happy to provide a highly qualified and professional staff as required for your event.  We provide Servers, Bartenders, Chefs, Kitchen Personnel and an Event Manager.  Our staff is professionally trained and attired in proper uniforms for all occasions.

 

Our Staff is contracted on a per person basis with rates ranging from $25.00 to $45.00 per hour with a minimum of four hours.  Staffing and rates are based on availability and abilities needed.  Holidays (i.e. Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day) are billed at double time.  Other Holidays may also be billed at a higher rate.

 

Travel time is charged as agreed upon and may incur additional charges for locations outside the Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley and San Gabriel Valley areas.  Our service area includes Central and Southern California based on availability.

 

EVENT PLANNING.  Topji is prepared to help you plan and organize your next event whether it’s a small dinner for eight or the event of a lifetime that includes the multitudes.  Our Professional Staff is ready to help you make your next event something every guest will talk about for days on end.

 

FLOWERS and SPECIAL DÉCOR.  We work with some of the finest Florists to make your event, whether corporate or private, something that will leave a lasting impression with every attending guest.  We are also happy to work with any designated florist you may contract.  It is encouraged to have a floral display especially if you are setting up a buffet.  In addition we can provide you with Specialty Décor such as Balloon Bouquets, Arches and Centerpieces, along with any additional Specialty Décor items you may require.

 

EVENT RENTALS.  We work with several Rental Companies and will choose the company suitable for your event needs.  We will arrange the items for you and will hire the Company that will provide the best value for the best equipment.  Items include but are not limited to tables; chairs; portable bars; dance floors; linen that can include tablecloths and napkins; silverware; china that can include hors d’oeuvres, dinner and dessert plates; glassware that can include wineglasses, water goblets and champagne flutes; serving equipment which can include chaffing dishes, serving bowls, platters, utensils and specialty displays.  Topji will also work with you should you need to take a more economical route and still make your event something spectacular.

 

EVENT MUSIC.  Music sets a special mood for any event large or small.  Whether it’s a String Quartet, Small Ensemble, Harpist, Pianist or DJ, we will be happy to help you arrange the most suitable type of music to add that additional ambiance for your next event.


TERMS AND AGREEMENTS  Services are provided on a per person basis unless otherwise contracted. There will be a minimum number of guests at a specific price agreed upon. If the count falls below the agreed maximum number, the price per guest may also rise. Staff prices are not included in this amount and will be billed as a separate charge as will all miscellaneous charges for other services provided. A standard 15% Administrative Charge and California Sales tax (9.25%) will be assessed. A customary 15%-20% gratuity may be added to your bill upon request for the staff or you may tip them directly.

Upon signing the event contract, a fifty percent deposit is required, with the balance due on the day of the event unless other arrangements are made. All staffing bills are due and payable in full at the end of the event where Staff is present, unless other arrangements have previously been made. All deposits are the possession of Topji and will be refunded only at the discretion of Topji. Any client who cancels any event within ten (10) days of the event date will forfeit their deposit and also will be responsible for any services contracted from other companies and/or any unrecoverable losses to Topji.

Topji and Staff will accept no Liquor liability for your event. It is the sole responsibility of the host to halt any beverage service to your guest(s) to prevent inebriation. We will however let you know of any concerns we have if we see anyone acting as though they are under the influence and could be of danger to themselves or others. We do not sell liquor on a per person basis; however we will be happy to arrange for this service and have it delivered to your event location at an additional 10% service fee calculated from the total cost of your beverage order. You will pay for your beverages directly to the liquor vendor. A comprehensive and complete Bar List for your personal use is available upon request.
